The web feels complex—but at its core, it’s built from a surprisingly small set of building blocks. 142 Elements is our way of giving back: a simple, focused learning site that walks through every standard HTML element and explains what it does, why it exists, and how it fits into the bigger picture of the web.

This isn’t a framework tutorial or a race to “build an app.” It’s a place to slow down and understand the fundamentals—whether you’re a new developer, a designer who wants to know what’s really under the hood, or someone who’s been shipping websites for years and wants a refresher.
